PICTURE; Notre Dame celebrate after claiming the Emerald Hoops International Series
Notre Dame University have taken their form from the Emerald Hoops International Series into their season opening fixture over South Carolina-Upstate.
The Fighting Irish enjoyed a 100% record from their Emerald Hoops games in Limerick, Belfast and Dublin and produced yet another devastating display on Sunday, claiming a comfortable 94-58 success over South Carolina-Upstate.
Luke Harangody, a real favourite during his stay in Ireland, produced a superb display, scoring 30 points and adding 14 rebounds.
Mike Brey’s charges finished with 25 assists, with eight coming from Tory Jackson followed by six by Emerald Hoops ‘MVP’ Kyle McAlarney.
It was a tough ask for Notre Dame’s opponents, who are in their second season as a Division One School.
